Stonecunning summary

It should be as easy to make a D&D dwarf who's a totem-channeling steppe-dwelling bear-riding spearman as it is to make a dwarf who falls into the easy, lazy, traditional axe-stone-gold-beer model.

  1. We've only seen Hill Dwarves and Mountain Dwarves so far; it wouldn't surprise me to see some other subrace, Steppe Dwarves, that'd do what you want. Or if its specific to your campaign, not that hard to build what you want wholecloth.

  2. I can build anything I want whole cloth -- I'd like a game to not put in a bunch of stuff I have to un-build first. One man's "archetypal" is another man's "unimaginative," I suppose.
